i finally feel like i'm in the mood to blog...hmmm okay first it's the SLC at bintan..well what can i say..it's kinda different from what i was told by the people who went to the Students' Leadership Camp earlier.ours was Sports Leadership..so it turned out to be very different i guess..

after the 2 hour plus ferry ride there we took a bus through the city and went on to some deserted dock where a fishing trawler was waiting.we all got on and had lunch there.then our first activity was BOOM NETTING!!most fun!!i was the first of the lot to test and jump off the side of the trawler into the fishing net.it was shiok man..the adrenaline rush when you leap off the deck into the water.then everyone followed.then i somesaulted after ken into the water..the height was say about 3 metres high..the feeling was just great, awesome!i just kept going, jump after jump..then we had to come up with this performance within our groups.oh there was chaw meng, chen shao, cassandra, grace khoo, claudia and talia in my group and we were group 7, the last group and we called ourselves 7-UP!!wahaa..so yea we did some formation and plunged into the water.i think boom netting was the most memorable of all the activities i guess..then the locals transferred our bags and stuff to a deserted island where there was already a tentage put up and it would be our accommodation for our first night there.then we went across to another island where we went to climb mountain..the climb was also fun.but due to time constraint we had to come down halfway because it was approaching nightfall...disappointing...so yea after that we headed back to the deserted island and spent the night there.i didn't bath....and there was alot of sandflies!kena bitten like mad.

woke up and we left the island.was supposedly heading for the LOOLA resort.but we had activities before that.kayaking and stuff.i swam..then halfway when everyone was rafting up, me and jinxy felt bored and played around abit.we climbed on top on ee pin's kayak..i only stayed up there for a mere 5 seconds or so and then got off.then mr loh got pissed and sent the both of us away onto the speed boat.he told us to get lost.like wth.just because of that.we dropped at the mangrove area and we went in to sit down.of course we were sian and quite dulan..

then was the real rafting.construct a raft to get at least 3 people across to the other island which was like maybe 800 metres away..though the we took the longest to build the raft, ours was the strongest.it lasted throughout the whole way until only like a few metres away from the shore before it broke up..and we were the first there...and though the water level throughout was only about thigh-deep, it was sure hell tiring to pull the raft there.

reached the resort finally and lunched.then time for the afternoon activites.rock climbed, played the bomb game involving getting the pail out with only ropes, climbed the coconut tree and i got 2 coconuts down myself.damn tiring because the coconuts were all so high up.then went orienteering.then through the spider web and we set the fastest group time - 29 secs for 6 people.climbed the yellow wall.was second fastest group.lastly we did the obstacle course.the afternoon activities were the most physically demanding for me.seriously damn shag....even now my body's still aching abit...

then on the last day we set out to conquer the mountain that we didn't finish on the first day.we trekked there.the view up there was great...then some misunderstanding happened on the way back to LOOLA.then we packed up, washed up and left.there was the dragon boat festival going on then so it was kinda crowded at the pier.then took the ferry back.it was an open top one.then we all went up to blow some wind.it was nice.the wind was really strong.i was thinking why let it go to waste.they should harness the wind energy to help power the ferry and many other things.hmmmmm...

then today..chuan and nat came halfway to crash my house!!like wth..i was shocked...omg.watched ant bully and an inconvenient truth..then chuan showed me his idea on how to generate electricity.quite cool.but still need to refine it more..hahaaa.we both wanna come up with some idea on generating green energy...
